Two UNESCO listed masterpieces in Tournai
Cathedral of Tournai - A jewel of medieval architecture, the Cathedral Notre-Dame in Tournai, with its five steeples, UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000, is constructed in the Romanesque and Gothic styles and has a superb treasure room. Guided visits for individuals upon reservation at the Tourist Office.
Tournai Belfry - Thanks to its recent refitting, the oldest belfry of Belgium, listed in 1999 as an UNESCO World Heritage, has now opened its rooms adjoining the 257 steps that lead to the panorama. Closed on Mondays. Guided visits for individuals upon reservation at the Tourist Office.
