Durbuy is renowned throughout the region (Belgium and beyond) for its gastronomy. It's a gem set in the middle of a region of “fine food”. You'll see that “Savour the flavour of Belgium” is a most appropriate saying for the local area.
There is a good choice of lower cost eating options, but people come to Durbuy to sample haut cuisine which represents truly excellent value for money. There are a number of choices. Our favourite is “La Prévôté”. The setting, an ivy covered stone house in the streets of the old town. Specialities include the meat prepared on an open wood fire in the dining room (the restaurant is a member of the Scotch Beef Club).
