On arrival and then getting around ...

Most scheduled flights fly into Brussels National airport (based in Zaventem).

There are regular trains from the airport to the centre of Bruxelles (Bruxelles-Centrale, Bruxelles-Nord and Bruxelles-Midi).

Some scheduled flights from the UK and Ireland (Ryanair) use Charleroi airport (South of Brussels). A coach service linking Charleroi airport to Brussels midi station is provided at Charleroi airport, the fares are 13 euros for a single ticket and 22 euros for a return ticket. 
From Charleroi airport, tickets can be purchased inside the terminal or are also available on the internet: www.voyages-lelan.be. The travel duration by coach from Charleroi airport to Brussels Midi station is 1 hour.

Regarding the coach service from Brussels Midi station to Charleroi airport, only single tickets are available, and may be purchased on board of the coach.

Alternatively, you can get the bus "A" from Charleroi airport to Charleroi-Sud train station. From there you can catch a train to Brussels. Further information can be obtained by calling +32 78 152 722 from abroad, or 0902 02490 (1€/min) from Belgium, or by visiting www.charleroi-airport.com
